The annual DCH Health System Community Health Fair is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate wellness, mental health awareness, and the importance of connecting with healthcare providers.
No matter the age or ability, the fair promises to be an engaging and enjoyable experience, with a variety of activities and services available to all who attend.
Health screenings for adults and children will be available, including blood pressure checks, blood glucose monitoring, and body mass index (BMI) calculations.
A live healthy cooking demonstration will be led by DCH’s Diabetes and Nutrition Services team, providing tips and recipes for a balanced diet.
Participants can also enjoy “Mindfulness Breaks,” designed to teach simple de-stressing techniques and promote relaxation.
This year’s fair will also feature a Kid’s Fun Zone with games, face painting, and an Easter egg hunt, ensuring that all ages have a blast.
